looking globally, investors, etc. in the US have their vacations that's why there isn't much volume compared to other months
the Chinese, which comprises most investors, not only globally but locally too, aren't keen on spending by this time
i once told a Chinese friend, I'm blessed this ghost month happens yearly coz at least once a year, traders like me can liquidate before it starts, giving us more buying power when prices lower. he even feels I'm more Chinese than him in terms of stewardship, that's why after saying such, he was speechless

how sad it was to change venues at short notice, can any relate?

Erin's place resort was supposed to be better that's why we changed venues only to find out it wasn't. aesthetically speaking, yes they look better from afar with kubos distanced from each other, they have a grotto & an infinity pool. yet such amenities isn't worth walking far just to do basic stuff like cooking, cleaning stuff, etc. their kubos aren't even cleaned before guests arrived. Basic hospitality protocols weren't even met & we had to ask them to do what was supposed to be basic for them. they weren't even hospitable & were rude after being told what they lack instead of being humble & apologetic for their shortcomings. we thought their place was even peaceful, yet we were surprised at guests cursing & violently hitting each other in broad daylight, which means food given to us before, after we had our own private concert & just a guitar was even better.

overall, i wont recommend Erin's place not only for their poor maintenance of the place but also for poor hospitality-very unbecoming in a business they have

how is it in puerto galera?
is it still rocky like my last trip?
is it white sand as a friend would say?

i recall trying to do a lap, as i slowly walk in the shore with small rocks roughly touching my feet, i started to swim to exercise my body, then upon reaching a deep part i began heading back to shore. i noticed, as i was trying to reach the area where i started to swim earlier, i felt the water holding me back. even as i tried standing, its grip on me along with its strong waves wont let me go. i even felt a 360 degree turn as i gasp for air. by grace, someone grabbed me & pulled me out of the water, otherwise, i would have drowned that day. as i tried vomiting the water i swallowed as i was still stuck in the water, i think i even kissed those rocky shore for my gratefulness being out of it & alive. hopefully, the next time wont be as bitter as before ..........

tanya's 4th bday w/ albergus

we arrived early to see the food being set-up by caterers. As the guests arrived 1 by 1, we were all curious, or maybe just me, as to how the food will be. The name is familiar, as i browse the net, it reminded me where i always see their name, i usually pass by their place & haven't tried them yet. After they made me pray for the event & the food, we started indulging ourselves to the feast set before us. I started trying their drink & even til we ended, its flavor wasn't diluted by ice though it stayed cool. The entrees were also delectable, as you savor through them 1 at a time, your palate will be enticed with their sauce alone, like enjoying authentic pasta, & are after its sauce, with a piece of bread to wipe it off your plate. Like the drink, the food stayed warm til the end, & over-all, our hosts hopefully got what they paid for.

just 4 yrs. ago we were at the hospital visiting after her delivery, & now she has already grown.

I'm blessed to have been invited to such an event, where the guests are like family to me, their respect & generosity overwhelms me .....
